TDM Plantation Sdn Bhd (TDM Plantation) has been involved in the development and management of oil palm plantation and the processing of crude palm oil and palm kernel since 1965. Starting with a modest set up, TDM Plantation has grown to be a major player in the palm oil industry. Currently, TDM Plantation manages twelve (12) oil palm estates with an approximate total area of 35,000 hectares in Terengganu, and owns 2 palm oil mills with an annual processing capacity of 530,000 metric tonne (mt) Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB). As 85% of the planted areas are matured, with the balance being replanted, replanting exercise will not be required for the next 10 years. This will enable the division to reap the profit for its earlier labor. The next strategy for growth is the expansion program which involve acquiring of new land for development, domestic and abroad. |
