TD Poultry Sdn Bhd (TD Poultry) was incorporated in Terengganu, in 1995 as its food division arm. With the vision to be a well established group of companies in agro-based activities, TD Poultry is poised to take on the challenge to be a premier poultry company in the East coast region. One of the major tasks for TD Poultry is to establish and meet the demand for HALAL poultry meat in the local market. With the on-going controversy on the reliability of HALAL meat supply in country, TD Poultry will surely emerge as the premier producer in the HALAL market. TD Poultry forecasts its production to increase 500,000 birds per month by December 2005. Currently its production is 250,000 per month. By the end of 2007, TD Poultry wants to produce 1 million HALAL birds per month for the local consumption. |
