Kuala Terengganu Specialist Hospital, a (KTSH) subsidiary of Kumpulan Medic Iman Sdn. Bhd. (KMI Healthcare), the healthcare division of TDM Berhad, launched a new service called ‘KTSH Homecare’ at an event officiated by the State Local Government, Housing, Health and Environment Committee Chairman, YB Dr Haji Alias bin Razak took place at KTSH today.
With ‘innovation’ as one of the core principles at KTSH, a new service has been introduced as an add-on value to the specialist hospital. Last year, KTSH started a nursing pilot project called WOW Care (Wellness on Wheels) to test the needs and effectiveness of the services that would be offered. This project unintentionally coincided with the current global COVID-19 pandemic and MCO situation in the country.
The main benefit of KTSH Homecare is that it offers the full range of treatments that are available in the hospital. KTSH Homecare enables patients to receive the best of care, not only in the hospital but also in the comfort of their homes.
