TDM Showed Solidarity in Joining A GLC-Wide CSR

In the wake of the floods that have devastated several states in Malaysia, including Terengganu, TDM Berhad showed solidarity in joining a GLC-wide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Terengganu Incorporated in collaboration with EPIC Berhad to ease the burden of those affected by the flood in Chukai, Kemaman. As it holds true to its mission to improve the well-being of its stakeholders and in the spirit of fellowship, TDM mobilised a disaster relief team comprising employees from its headquarters and Pelantoh Estate, joining 115 others in cleanup efforts of the victims’ flood-ravaged houses, restoring some semblance of normalcy to the areas. Some cleaned the left-behind mud, disinfected drains, while others removed damaged goods, and debris.

A special mention goes out to everyone who made the initiative a success, especially ADUN Chukai YB Haji Hanafiah Mat and members of Terengganu Inc Group; Golden Pharos Berhad, Permai Hotel Kuala Terengganu, Primula Beach Hotel, Syarikat Air Terengganu, TI Properties and Ladang Rakyat Terengganu.

We hope that the joint efforts will help alleviate their hardship and provide morale booster to everyone – they were impacted financially and emotionally having faced substantial losses and damages. Our hearts go out to everyone affected. In doing what we can, we also pray for the well-being of those currently struggling in the calamity all around Malaysia.
