TDM Forging Community Ties through Huluran Kasih Programme

12 August 2021 – TDM Berhad today continued the company’s Huluran Kasih programme to stay connected with the local community even through the pandemic. A team of volunteers led by the Syariah and Syakhsiyah Development department visited a few selected families nearby TDM headquarters in Kuala Terengganu to check on their well-being and exchange moral support. The visit was conducted following the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) to prevent the further spread of the COVID-19 virus and ensure the safety of everyone involved. At the end of the visit, the team handed out a small donation of basic food supplies to help ease their burden in managing their daily expenses.

The pandemic has adversely affected many people; some people lost their lives, others lost their jobs, and most struggle financially to continue providing necessities for themselves and their families. While helping the government stops further spread of the COVID-19 virus, let’s play a part in supporting the most vulnerable in our society. After all, a little kindness goes a long way, and we need one another to survive these unprecedented times.
