03 April 2022 – In a bid to welcome Ramadan and reflect on the values of giving and sharing, TDM Berhad rallied with the Terengganu Inc Group (TIG) at its annual tradition of distributing Bubur Lambuk, a must-have staple treat, just like dates during the fasting month. Happening right in front of the Masjid Abidin or else known as the Masjid Negeri, this communal occasion was graced by Terengganu Incorporated Sdn. Bhd. (Terengganu Inc) President and Executive Director Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed @ Harun and Masjid Abidin Chairman YBM Dato’ Dr. Syed Mohammad Salleh Syed Yusof Al-Zawawi, who took time off their busy schedules to distribute the savoury porridge while having warm exchanges with the passers-by. 

Joining the crowd to represent TDM were its key senior management team together with TDM Plantation Sdn. Bhd. (TDMP) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) En Hamdan Ibrahim. They gathered and took to the road with flashy smiles, carefully stopping traffic as they distributed the treat to passing motorists and cars in front of the venue. In total, we managed to hand out 1,000 packets of this Ramadhan favourite during the first day of the programme together with the members of the TIG. While food is always the best way to reach out to people, which in fact is proven to be truly the Malaysian way, we sincerely hope that our participation in this programme helps to encourage the culture of giving during Ramadan and further strengthens our ties with the local communities.
