16th September 2022 – TDM Berhad is honoured to take part in the “Pertandingan Kenderaan Berhias”, held in celebration of the 60th Birthday of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, under the “Beca Berhias” category.

The 3.2-kilometre parade route from the Dataran Syahbandar to the Dataran Batu Burok was overflowed with thousands of local visitors, all excited to see the participating decorated vehicles by Terengganu local authorities (PBT) and decorated trishaws by government-linked companies (GLC). Each one was adorned to perfection with colourful lights and ornaments, capturing the unique beauty and rich legacy of the State as well as the wonderful eccentricities of its people under the wings of HRH Sultan Terengganu – as goes the theme of the historic occasion, “Daulat Tuanku”. HRH Sultan Terengganu officiated the event and joined the rest as spectators of this beautiful parade in the company of Terengganu Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar.

TDM’s three-wheeled steed for this competition was mainly inspired by its two core businesses, oil palm plantation and private healthcare, which are growing beyond boundaries under the reign of HRH Sultan Terengganu. The adornments strategically placed across its cart reflected the Group’s collective and progressive developments after operating and serving the rakyat while providing job opportunities to the locals and building many sustainable communities across Terengganu for almost 57 years.
