TDM Berhad Grabbed the Opportunity to Participate as a Co-sponsor for “ALAM” Art Exhibition

In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), under goals 14 (Life below Water) and 15 (Life on Land) as well as Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) interests, TDM Berhad grabbed the opportunity to participate as a co-sponsor for “ALAM” Art Exhibition which took place, at The Ledge Art Gallery, 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya organized by Heart 2 Art Gallery started from 30th January until 26th February 2023. Through this program, TDM took the chance to highlight the importance of protecting, restoring and promoting the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems and oceans, managing forests sustainably, combating desertification, halting and reversing land degradation as well as stopping the loss of biodiversity.

This exhibition brought together 17 experienced artists involving art lecturers and talented artists from all over the country to display their latest works attached with important messages about the environment, wildlife on land and sea. This exhibition opened a space of interest and inspired the younger generation to continue trying to preserve our natural heritage in any way possible, including through art as a medium of visual communication to bring out ideas and significant social messages.

Opening of the exhibition was graced by Mr. Roslan Ariffin, Chief Executive Officer, BERNAMA, followed by Prof. Abdul Hamid Mohamed, Founder of Heart2Art Gallery, Mr. Siva Nair, Coordinator of Heart2Art Gallery and representative from TDM, which was Mrs. Norfar’Izan Hashim, Head of Corporate Communications.

Huge deserving congratulations to the organizers and everyone involved in the “ALAM” Art Exhibition for positively raising awareness to public regarding the importance of our role in protecting flora and fauna in Malaysia.
