The news about the recent earthquake in Turkey has shocked many people and attracted attention from all over the world. The earthquake is said to be one of the worst in more than 100 years in Turkiye which has claimed lives as well as destroyed many buildings in cities and also caused severe damage in the neighboring country, Syria.
After learning about the unfortunate event, TDM Berhad was moved to help lessen the burden of those who are in Turkiye. TDM Berhad is honoured to be able to work with other agencies and organisations to support the Terengganu State Government’s admirable efforts to ensure the success of the humanitarian mission to Turkiye.
The “Terengganu for Turkiye” Fund Presentation Ceremony was officiated today at Wisma Darul Iman’s Convention Hall by YB Wan Sukairi Wan Abdullah, Chairperson of the Youth, Sports, and NGO Development Committee. The programme then followed with YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar Menteri Besar of Terengganu, presenting a donation cheque to all contributors. Haji Najman Kamaruddin Executive Director of TDM, was also there representing the company.
Hopefully, with the help donated, it will facilitate their aid mission there and help the victims get back on their feet and continue living life. On this occasion, we would also like to thank all those who have offered help in any form as well as the prayers sent to our brothers and sisters in Turkiye. May they continue to be strong and persevere facing this difficult time.
