TDM Gets 58 Orphans New Raya Apparels and A Treat for Iftar

TDM Berhad, in partnership with Kelab Kebajikan SAF Wanita Terengganu (SAFWA), organised a break-the-fast event, Iftar Kaseh Ramadan, with 103 orphans and asnaf from Pengkalan Berangan yesterday. The ceremony to honour the less fortunate children was held at the Terengganu VS Thai restaurant in Wakaf Tapai and was attended by YB Ustaz Sulaiman Sulong, Deputy Chairman of the Terengganu Tourism, Culture and Information Technology Committee who is also the Pengkalan Berangan Assemblyman, and En. Mohd Kamaruzaman A Wahab, Director of TDM.
TDM is constantly seeking for ways to give back to the community, and during this holy month, the company plans to step up its charitable endeavours. TDM believes that by holding the event, it will be able to share happiness and excitement with the children while also providing them the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of breaking fast together, like a big family.
In accordance with the forthcoming Hari Raya, TDM also provided a RM100 ‘duit raya’ contribution to all the children of Pengkalan Berangan for their Raya preparations, which was delivered by En. Mohd Kamaruzaman and YB Ustaz Sulaiman. The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to honour those who were born in April.
