To commemorate this year’s Eid al-Adha 1444H, TDM once again seized the opportunity to share blessings through the act of qurban (sacrifice). The successful distribution of qurban proceeds from the TDM Qurban Ceremony 2023, which spanned over 4 days, benefited 3,000 families. These families, consisting of selected asnaf and impoverished individuals living near the event locations, as well as TDM employees in Kuala Terengganu, Marang, Kuala Nerus, Sungai Tong Complex, Bukit Besi Complex, and Kemaman Complex, received the assistance.
Continuing the ceremony today at Sungai Tong Complex, a collaborative effort at Akademi TDM, Sungai Tong saw the sacrificial slaughter of 4 cows. Mr. Hamdan Ibrahim, the CEO of TDM Plantation Sdn. Bhd., graced the event with his presence, taking the time to engage with employees and the local community.
Through this act of sacrifice, it is hoped that we will cultivate sincerity in our charitable endeavors and increase our awareness of the well-being of those around us. Insha’Allah, each sacrificial act strengthens the bond of unity among us.
