TDM Berhad is pleased to have taken part in the Decorated Boat Competition, celebrating the 25th Year of Reign (Silver Jubilee) of His Majesty Sultan Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin. Our participation covered categories such as government-linked companies (GLC), government agencies, and federal agencies. The event, held at Duyong Marina Resort, was inaugurated by Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, Menteri Besar of Terengganu. Representing our company was Haji Najman Kamaruddin, Executive Director of TDM.
The decorated boat parade left Pulau Warisan, stopping at Duyong Marina Resort, Seberang Takir Jetty, Shahbandar Jetty, Payang Walk, and ultimately returning to Pulau Warisan. This allowed a larger audience to observe the brilliantly decorated boats, which were equipped with colourful lights and enticing ornaments, all in keeping with the concept of “Daulat Tuanku” shown by all participants. The presence of thousands of spectators at the celebrations was clear.
In honour of the 25-year reign of His Majesty Sultan Terengganu, TDM proudly presented a replica of the golden royal “Tanjak”, symbolising the palace and the spirit of Malay warriors. Meanwhile, the turtle icon represents Terengganu, a coastal state encompassing ecological, cultural, and tourist aspects, all contributing to Terengganu’s unique identity and allure. We hope for TDM’s continued progress under the benevolent leadership of His Majesty Sultan Terengganu. DAULAT TUANKU!
