KMI HEALTHCARE STRENGTHENS CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY THROUGH BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGNS

TDM, through its healthcare subsidiary Kumpulan Medic Iman Sdn. Bhd. (KMI Healthcare), continues to strengthen its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts through ongoing blood donation campaigns. This meaningful initiative is part of KMI Healthcare’s commitment to supporting the nation’s blood supply needs while raising public awareness about the importance of blood donation as a vital and life-saving act.

KMI Healthcare operates five (5) specialist hospitals that provide secondary healthcare services across key medical disciplines. These hospitals include KMI Kelana Jaya Medical Centre (Selangor), KMI Kuantan Medical Centre (Pahang), KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Centre (Terengganu), KMI Taman Desa Medical Centre (Kuala Lumpur), and KMI Tawau Medical Centre (Sabah).

Through this campaign, KMI Healthcare’s hospitals have achieved remarkable recognition. KMI Kuantan Medical Centre was the sole representative from the private sector in Pahang to receive a national-level award in conjunction with World Blood Donor Day 2025 and the 25th Anniversary of the National Blood Centre. Additionally, KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Centre was recognised as an active campaign organiser during the state-level World Blood Donor Day 2025 celebration in Terengganu.

By organising these campaigns, KMI Healthcare not only supports the Ministry of Health Malaysia in ensuring a safe and sufficient national blood supply but also helps instill humanitarian values within society. This initiative reflects TDM and KMI Healthcare’s ongoing commitment to making CSR a meaningful and impactful practice that contributes to the well-being of both communities and the nation.
