TDM STRENGTHENS COMMUNITY TIES THROUGH STATEWIDE CSR INITIATIVE WITH ‘TDM BERSAMA MASYARAKAT’ PROGRAM

TDM has reaffirmed its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through the ‘TDM Bersama Masyarakat’ program—an impactful, statewide initiative that spans all eight (8) districts and state constituencies (DUN) across Terengganu. Since its launch in 2022, TDM has channelled approximately RM1.2 million through its zakat wakalah fund to support asnaf families and individuals, ensuring that aid is directed to those who need it the most.

By expanding its outreach across the entire state, TDM demonstrates a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being of local communities, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), particularly Goal 1: No Poverty.

This initiative includes the distribution of essential household items and financial contributions, carefully coordinated with local authorities and religious institutions to uphold transparency, integrity, and fairness. Each handover is conducted with the clear intention of easing the burden faced by underprivileged families, reflecting TDM’s dedication to providing sustainable and meaningful support.

More than just financial aid, the ‘TDM Bersama Masyarakat’ program serves as a bridge between the company and the people of Terengganu. It nurtures goodwill, strengthens mutual trust, and reinforces TDM’s role as a responsible and caring corporate citizen.
