25th September 2022 – TDM Plantation Sdn Bhd (TDMP), the plantation arm of TDM Berhad, organised the “Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang TDMP” to recognise employees who have been the backbone of its operations and success. Hosted at the Akademi TDM, Sungai Tong, the awarding ceremony gathered more than 1,500 workers from TDMP estates and mills across Terengganu.
Present to meet and celebrate these workers in person were Terengganu Shariah Implementation, Education and Higher Education Committee Chairman YB Dato’ Haji Satiful Bahari Mamat, State Secretary and TDM Chairman YBM Tengku Seri Bijaya Raja, Setiu Parliament Member YB Ustaz Shaharizukirnain Abdul Kadir, TDM and TDMP Boards of Directors, TDM Executive Director Haji Najman Kamaruddin and TDMP Chief Executive Officer Encik Hamdan Ibrahim.
Nine awards with a total of 13 categories were accorded at the ceremony, recognising more than 130 employees who have showcased outstanding performance in addition to serving their respective operations for a long time.
TDMP also dedicated a special award to Puan Zaiton Idris, a wise and humble figure rendering unwavering services to the Air Putih Estate for 48 years. Her commitment is indeed commendable and an inspiration to many.
Most of the attendees, including TDM and TDMP management teams, expressed their excitement, cheering and giving standing ovations to those who went up on stage receiving awards – a beautiful moment that encapsulated the spirit of togetherness shared among employees of the TDM Group. It is with great hope that the exemplary work ethic highlighted throughout this event will inspire others to give nothing but the best in delivering the assigned duties and responsibilities.
