TDM Berhad is pleased to participate in the International Golden Monsoon Ride 2022 cycling tournament held yesterday at the Terengganu International Endurance Park (TIEP), Setiu. The Terengganu Inc Challenge Series cycling programme has been upgraded to an international level, which also gathered participants from locally and abroad. This year’s tournament was led by Ladang Rakyat Trengganu (LRT) in collaboration with the Terengganu Polygon Cycling Team (TSG). The total number of participants was 1395; with 104 participants from TDM.
Gracing this tournament were Terengganu State Secretary, YBM Tengku Seri Bijaya Raja, together with President and Executive Director of Terengganu Inc, Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed @ Harun, Chief Executive of LRT, YM Che Ku Hafeez Che Ku Denang, Head Executive Officers of TSG, YM Che Ku Izmuddin Che Ku Mahmood, as well as the heads of companies under Terengganu Inc.
There were six cycling categories with two routes, “On Road” and “Off Road”, – Men’s Elite, Men’s Master, Men’s Novice & Women’s Open, one category for Fun Ride Off Road and one category for Fun Ride on Road. The “Fun Ride on Road” category featured 43 kilometres of cycling, while the “Off Road” category involved a challenging 20 kilometres straight route and 17 kilometres of hilly areas at Ladang Lembah Bidong.
