TDM Collaborates with Amal Foundation of Malaysia to Successfully Organise the “Dapur Rakyat” Programme

As a wrap-up of the year 2022, TDM Berhad yesterday, in collaboration with Amal Foundation of Malaysia (Amal Malaysia) carried out “Dapur Rakyat” programme to aid flood victims in Terengganu, especially the residents of Kampung Seberang Tayor, Air Putih, Kemaman. TDM continues its flood relief mission in the company’s operational unit by providing ready-to-cook food centrally in affected areas.

Encik Nawawi Sulong from Amal Malaysia led the lunch preparation for 1,300 people. Apart from Amal Malaysia team, TDM Berhad together with TDM Plantation Sdn Bhd (TDMP) employees from Kemaman Complex, also had the opportunity to join hands and strengthen ties by preparing lunch together.

Present to greet and distribute the food to the communities were TDMP Director, YB. Che Alias Hamid, Deputy Chairman 2 of the Terengganu State Tourism, Culture and Digital Technology Committee, YB. Ab Razak Ibrahim, accompanied by Chairman of Jawatankuasa Pembangunan dan Keselamatan Kampung (JPKK) Kampung Seberang Tayor.

In this programme, Ibnu Sina’s Medical Charity Organisation of Malaysia (PAPISMA) also rallied together and lent their expertise to hold health screening as well as giving out donations to the communities, including sanitary kits, vitamins, telekung and daily necessities.

TDM would like to express its deepest appreciation to all Malaysians, especially those who are concerned about the flood victims on the East Coast. We hope each of your efforts in contributing to this programme can alleviate the flood victims’ burden and help them continue their daily lives.
