TDM had the opportunity to participate in the prestigious ‘Townhall Mahasiswa Anak Terengganu’ programme, organised by Yayasan Terengganu in collaboration with the Persatuan Mahasiswa Anak Terengganu (PERMATA). The event was graced by YAB Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Ahmad Samsuri bin Mokhtar, Menteri Besar of Terengganu, and brought together hundreds of Terengganu-born students currently pursuing higher education across Malaysia. This townhall served as an important platform for students to express their views, share ideas, and engage directly with the Menteri Besar on current issues and his personal experiences.
As part of its support for youth development, TDM took part in the exhibition under the umbrella of the Terengganu Inc Group. TDM’s subsidiary, KMI Healthcare, also participated by operating a ‘Free Health Screening’ booth, providing basic health checks for attendees. TDM Plantation introduced its plantation business, allowing students and visitors to gain a better understanding of the industry and its contributions.
This programme not only exposed participants to potential career opportunities, but also helped raise awareness about the importance of personal health and the value of local businesses in driving the state’s economy.
