TDM Launches Ops Banjir and New Flood-Relief Boat

TDM remains steadfast in its commitment to the community by launching the Ops Banjir relief mission, focusing on areas where the company operates. As part of this initiative, TDM introduced a newly acquired flood-relief boat, dedicated for use by both staff and the local community at Ladang Pinang Emas. This is part of TDM’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.

The mission was led by En. Hamdan Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of TDM Plantation Sdn. Bhd., along with TDM’s management team, who visited 20 families in Pinang Emas, Bukit Besi, and 38 flood victims in Padang Kubu, Pelantoh. The affected individuals are currently housed at nearby Temporary Relief Centres (PPS).

In addition to supporting the local community, TDM also ensured that foreign workers were not left behind, providing equal distributions of essential goods and food supplies.

Beyond providing immediate aid, this mission served to strengthen bonds between the company and the local community. The initiative also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1: No Poverty, by ensuring that vulnerable groups receive adequate support during times of crisis.

TDM is committed to continuing initiatives like Ops Banjir to ensure the well-being of communities in its operational areas.
