Karnival Penghayatan Islam TDM Berhad Greets Setiu Community

29th September 2022 – TDM Berhad, with the support of the Persatuan Belia Sahabat Sejahtera Daerah Setiu, successfully concluded the fifth series of its “Karnival Penghayatan Islam” programme, this time taking place at the Dewan Terbuka Sungai Tarom and with the local community in Setiu. Just like the previous series, this programme hosted a line-up of exciting activities and insightful sharing sessions like the “Kuliah Dhuha”, “Kenduri Rakyat”, “Sukaneka Rakyat”, “Forum Perdana”, and more, featuring figures and personalities like Pencetus Ummah Amin, Ustaz Ahmad Muzani, and Ustaz Abd Hadi.

Present to officiate the programme in the presence of TDM Plantation Sdn Bhd (TDMP) Chief Executive Officer Encik Hamdan Ibrahim and Setiu Parliament Member YB Ustaz Shaharizukirnain Abd Kadir was Terengganu Youth, Sports, and Non-governmental Organisations (NGO) Committee Deputy Chairman YB Ustaz Hishamuddin Abdul Karim.

After delivering his speech and officiating the programme, YB Ustaz Hishamuddin joined hands with Encik Hamdan, YB Ustaz Shaharizukirnain, and a few other invitees to distribute monetary donations to 400 identified asnaf families from the district of Setiu. This corporate social responsibility (CSR) pledge of RM80,000 by TDM is hoped to ease the recipients’ burden as they go about their daily lives.
