TDM Berhad had the opportunity to connect with special needs students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Ladang (SK Ladang). 34 students with special needs such as Slow Learners, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Autism participated in the “Pendidikan Khas Integrasi” programme. These students face learning difficulties and providing them with appropriate resources can aid in the development of human capital capable of competing and being educated to their fullest potential.
Students were ecstatic when they were given the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as celebrating their birthdays at Batu Burok Beach Resort, receiving gifts, and enjoying a great meal and cake.
The programme is managed by Senior Assistant of Special Education, Puan Norwati Omar, together with 12 teachers from SK Ladang. Present to celebrate these students on behalf of TDM is Head of Corporate Communication, Puan Norfar’izan Hashim.
This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity is one of the alternatives to strengthen ties between the local community and the society where the company operates. It is anticipated that the teachers involved in this programme will be empowered to continue delivering the finest education possible for these exceptional children and will be blessed as a result of their efforts.
