TDM Honoured at NTW 2024 Terengganu with Skill-Building Initiatives

TDM recently received an award in conjunction with the National Training Week (NTW) 2024 Tour Program for the state of Terengganu, held at Duyong Marina Resort. Mr. Ahmad Shukri Mohd Ali, Head of Human Resource Management and Administration of TDM Berhad, represented the company in receiving the award.

Last year, NTW 2023 successfully provided free training to 129,321 registered participants, delivering 503,572 hours of training across 21,473 courses offered.

Building on that success, NTW 2024, which will take place from 24 to 30 June 2024, will focus on five key pillars: Life Skills (Pillar 1), Future Skills (Pillar 2), Creativity and Innovation (Pillar 3), Financial Literacy (Pillar 4), and Sustainable Development (Pillar 5). NTW 2024 aims to offer 25,000 courses with a target of 200,000 participants. Participation is open to all segments of society, including school students, university students, single mothers, persons with disabilities (PWD), and industry players—free of charge.

TDM is also taking the opportunity to support NTW 2024 by organizing programs such as Integrated Pest Management in Oil Palm Plantation, Introduction to a Worship-Friendly Hospital, and TDM’s Knowledge Sharing Carnival: NTW24’s 5 Pillars, targeting the participation of 890 individuals. It is hoped that this initiative will benefit everyone by fostering a culture of learning through free skill and knowledge development opportunities.
