TDM Supports Wildlife Conservation on World Elephant Day 2024

TDM had the opportunity to participate in the 2024 World Elephant Day celebration program organized by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) of Peninsular Malaysia. Mr. Hamdan Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of TDM Plantation, was present alongside other members of management at the National Elephant Conservation Centre in Kuala Gandah, Lanchang, Pahang.

TDM fully supports this initiative, which aligns with our commitment to safeguarding and protecting wildlife, particularly elephants. Our estates also practice the “Living Together with Elephants” concept, which emphasizes harmony and coexistence between humans and elephants. This approach not only ensures environmental sustainability but also raises awareness of the importance of protecting this increasingly endangered species.
