TDM Group Contributes Over RM2 Million in Corporate Zakat to MAIDAM

The Terengganu Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIDAM) held the 3rd Corporate Zakat Contribution Ceremony for 2024 in conjunction with the Opening Ceremony of MAIDAM’s 75-Year Exhibition at Dewan Batu Bersurat, Terengganu State Museum.

TDM Group’s zakat contribution for the year 2023 totaled RM2,044,424.47, covering TDM Berhad, TDM Plantation Sdn. Bhd., Kuala Terengganu Specialist Hospital Sdn. Bhd. (KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Centre), and Kuantan Medical Centre Sdn. Bhd. (KMI Kuantan Medical Centre).

Through this contribution, TDM remains committed to supporting communities in overcoming socio-economic challenges, particularly in easing the financial burden of asnaf (eligible zakat recipients).

This initiative aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 1: No Poverty, by aiming to reduce hardship among the underprivileged and helping them achieve a better quality of life.
