TDM had the honour of participating in the Graduation and Prayer Ceremony of SMK Sungai Tong, involving 250 SPM and STPM students preparing for their 2024 examinations. This initiative is part of the company’s ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts to support communities in the areas where we operate.
The event began with the school’s first-ever graduation ceremony, celebrating the achievements of final-year students before their upcoming exams. This was followed by a congregational solat hajat (prayer of hope), attended by parents of the exam-bound students. Ustaz Muhamad Hamdi Harun, Head of Shariah and Shaksiah Department at TDM, delivered a brief motivational talk before the prayer session.
This initiative is also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. Through support like this, TDM aims to not only enhance access to quality education but also strengthen collaboration between the corporate sector and local communities.
