TDM Supports Monsoon Season Aid for Fishermen in Seberang Takir

TDM, in collaboration with the Seberang Takir State Assembly Community Service Centre, organized a Special Aid Programme for Fishermen During the Monsoon Season to help ease the burden of fishermen affected by the seasonal downturn. The programme was held at Dewan Sivik Seberang Takir and attended by YB Dato’ Dr. Haji Alias bin Razak, Member of Parliament for Kuala Nerus and Chairman of Kumpulan Medic Iman Sdn. Bhd., and YB Tuan Haji Khazan bin Che Mat, State Assemblyman for Seberang Takir and Chairman of Kumpulan Ladang-Ladang Trengganu Sdn. Bhd., as well as TDM’s management.

This initiative targets 372 registered fishermen under the local Fishermen’s Association, who will receive essential goods such as rice, sugar, dry food, and other basic daily necessities.

TDM remains committed to playing a proactive role in supporting the local community and hopes this initiative strengthens its bond with the rakyat while contributing to the socioeconomic development of Terengganu.
