TDM Joined Terengganu Inc Group’s Water Crisis Donation to The State Government

04 September 2021 – Understanding the difficulties of water supply disruptions currently experienced by residents around Kuala Terengganu and Kuala Nerus, TDM Berhad has once again stepped forward, this time, joining the Terengganu Inc Group to provide financial assistance to the Terengganu State Government in facing the Berangan Water Crisis. TDM’s contribution to the joint effort has brought the fund to a total of RM1.61 million – a collective amount channelled together with other members of the Group, namely Syarikat Air Satu Terengganu (SATU), Eastern Pacific Industrial Corporation (EPIC) Berhad and Ladang Rakyat Trengganu (LRT). The donation cheque was presented in a ceremony earlier this morning by Terengganu Inc Executive Director Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed @ Harun to Terengganu Menteri Besar YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, witnessed by State Welfare, Women & Family Development, and National Unity Committee Chairman YB Haji Hanafiah Mat, together with State Youth Development, Sports, and Non-Government Development Committee Chairman YB Ustaz Wan Sukairi Wan Abdullah.

Also present at the venue were TDM Berhad Director En Kamaruzaman A Wahab, SATU Chief Executive Officer En Abdul Karim Endut and representatives from EPIC Berhad and LRT. It is hoped that this contribution will alleviate the burden experienced by those affected until the repair works are completed as planned. TDM would like to encourage the public to show solidarity, rallying together to assist residents of Kuala Terengganu and Kuala Nerus through this crisis in any way possible.
