TDM Turned Pink to Amplify Breast Cancer Awareness

03 September 2021 – TDM Berhad has had the privilege to once again turn pink and join hands with the TERENGGANU INC Group in its “October is Pink” campaign, an annual pledge to raise awareness of breast cancer, amplifying the importance of health checks and creating an accessible avenue for the general community to learn more about early detection. The company, together with fellow Terengganu GLCs under the Terengganu Inc Group, rallied together throughout October, rolling out a series of offline and online activities curated to celebrate survivors of breast cancer, honour those lost to the disease, and remind everyone of the importance of regular doctor visits for early intervention.

In an effort to continue supporting the cause as the campaign wrapped up, Terengganu Inc Executive Director Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed @ Harun today handed over a donation cheque raised by the Group together with its members – TDM, Primula Beach Hotel, Manis FM, GPQ Sdn Bhd and TI Properties Sdn Bhd – to Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ) Director Dr. Mohd Salleh Mat Jusoh. Also present to witness the occasion were TDM Head of Corporate Communications Puan Norfar’izan Hashim, KMI Kuala Terengganu (Kuala Terengganu Specialist Hospital) General Manager Puan Salina Long, and representatives from Terengganu Inc as well as Primula. The proceeds are hoped to provide essential needs or support to HSNZ in its efforts to bring smiles and a glimpse of hope to those touched by breast cancer.

Our sincere gratitude goes out to every medical professional who is working tirelessly to treat patients and work towards a cure – your contribution to society by devoting your time and expertise has enabled many to take charge of their lives and live with dignity. We would also wish to thank members of the public, including individuals, corporations, NGOs, and volunteers who continue to play a meaningful, participatory and partnership role in driving awareness. Together, we care and support the fight against breast cancer!
