TDM Berhad Aids Kuala Terengganu Asnaf Families through its Karnival Penghayatan Islam

20th August 2022 – TDM Berhad successfully wrapped up the Kuala Terengganu series of its Karnival Penghayatan Islam, this time hosted together with the Himpunan Pemuda Islam Kuala Terengganu (PEMIKAT) and Himpunan Ameerah (HAMRA). The programme – which was held from 18 – 20 August 2022 – received an overwhelming response from members of the public, with thousands flooding the venue to participate in the line-up of exciting activities and insightful sharing sessions with influential figures and personalities like YB Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang, Ustaz Azhar Idrus, Faizal Tahir, Zizan Razak and many more.

Present to officiate the programme was Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) Deputy Minister YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad Bin Hashim in the presence of TDM Director Haji Mazli Zakuan Mohd Noor and TDM Plantation Sdn Bhd (TDMP) Chief Executive Officer Encik Hamdan Ibrahim. As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) pledge, TDM also handed over monetary donations amounting to RM80,000 to 400 selected asnaf families from across Kuala Terengganu in the hope of easing their burden.
