TDM & HRD Corp Champion Lifelong Learning at NTW 2024 East Coast Edition

TDM and the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) joined forces to co-host the East Coast edition of the National Training Week (NTW) 2024 in Terengganu yesterday. The event was officiated by the Honourable Tuan Haji Mohd Husaimi Hussin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Digital Economy, New Income, Trade, Industry, and Green Technology, and was held at the Science and Creativity Centre in Kampung Laut, Terengganu. Haji Najman Kamaruddin, Executive Director of TDM, was also present to show support for this year’s NTW.

“TDM’s Knowledge Sharing Carnival: NTW24’s 5 Pillars” was the theme we highlighted to support the five (5) core pillars of NTW 2024, namely Life Skills (Pillar 1), Future Skills (Pillar 2), Creativity and Innovation (Pillar 3), Financial Literacy (Pillar 4), and Sustainable Development (Pillar 5). The event yesterday saw the participation of nearly 1,000 Terengganu residents who joined the free training programs, which attracted a diverse range of participants including school students, university students, single mothers, persons with disabilities (PWD), and industry players.

This valuable knowledge-sharing initiative is also part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to cultivate a culture of lifelong learning among the community. Through this program, we can clearly see the importance of lifelong learning in facing future challenges.
