TDM Plantation Organised On-site COVID-19 Screening for its Foreign Workers

In these unprecedented times, the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, regardless of their nationalities, remain our number one priority, and we are working hard to make sure that we minimise risks related to the spread of COVID-19. Throughout the pandemic, we have been working closely with the authorities and our Healthcare counterpart, KMI Healthcare, to safeguard the health of all employees, while ensuring business continuity to meet our obligation towards our stakeholders, community and the state of Terengganu.

Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak last year, we have put stringent safety and heath measures across our work areas, including our estates, mills, hospitals, and offices, and conducted detailed communications to all our employees on how to safeguard against the virus. In view of the current development of the coronavirus and on top of our existing health screening, TDM Plantation has worked together with Kuala Terengganu Specialist Hospital to conduct an on-site COVID-19 screening for our foreign workers across all of our estates in Terengganu. Hosted at TDM Academy, the first screening session involving Tayor Estate foreign workers was completed yesterday and will continue for the next nine days to facilitate the remaining estates.
