26 – 28 December 2021 – TDM Berhad continued its flood relief commitment, this time mobilising necessary aids for flood victims in the Klang Valley areas and extending support for them to get back on their feet. The company made a monetary contribution to a local non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Selangor in support of its humanitarian mission to assist flood-ravaged communities. With effective coordination, the collected fund benefited many in the forms of;
dry rations, pillows, mattresses, blankets, and towels distribution to 25 affected families in Kampung Seri Aman, Kampung Tengah and Kampung Sri Andalas,
monetary donation to 83 families at Pusat Pemindahan Sementara (PPS) Dewan Puchong Indah,
60 sets of mattresses, pillows, blankets, and towels for flood victims in Kampung Raja,
post-flood clean-ups of 11 flood-ravaged houses in Kampung Lombong, Taman Sri Muda, Kampung Tengah and Kampung Sri Andalas.
On top of the aids listed above, volunteers gathered by the NGO also extended moral support and encouragement to everyone involved, hoping that it would ease their emotional injuries over the loss of physical possessions and psychological distress.
